Alphabetical Monsters: The Ag-Lag
1000 years ago, the hubris-mad wizard Hizzbrun Dragonhair perfected his magnus opus. A spell that would end war, and bring perfect understanding and brotherhood between men. It was an infectious language, which would spread from person to person until the whole of mankind would be able to communicate without barriers.
He was punished by providence for his hubris, the spell mutated rapidly, and after only a few transmissions it reached its final stable form. Instead of granting the infected a new language, it renders them able only to speak the word "Ag-Lag". The spell also mutated such that it renders the infected mad with bloodlust.
